Winston: Edward F. Knipling had the idea of sterilizing insects and releasing them to control specific insect populations. Wild insect mates with a sterile insect, no offspring are born.
Winston: He's responsible for the great worm wall. The screwworm is a nasty flesh eating larva of the screwworm fly. Millions of sterile flies are dropped over the Panama/Colombia border every year to keep North America screwworm free.
Florence: Until now, I had never heard of the great worm wall.
Winston: Well, it's another case of people doing their job so well, no one knows they're doing it.
